These images can be licensed for commercial, editorial and private use. Images are high resolution shot with Nikon FX and either a 17-35 mm zoom, a 70-200 mm zoom, a 105 mm macro or a 14 mm fish eye. Underwater camera in an Aquatica housing with two Inon strobes. The size of a printed image depends on desired ppi. A wall print can be printed with 150 ppi, Industry standard on commercial work requires 300 ppi producing a higher resolution image of a smaller size. Resale of these images is prohibited. Under Water Images
I have built a substantial portfolio of underwater images from the reefs off the coast of Guayacanes in the Dominican Republic. During more than 700 solodives I have seen from 100 ft visibility to almost zero. Diving conditions are difficult with constant current, the reefs are deep and far from the coast. These dives are all decompression dives, no off the shelf dive shop dives. This is an interesting world for divers willing to do what it takes to dive on these reefs. No diveguide point you to any of these reefs.

Above Water Images
I have now retired from this type of diving I'm happy breathing at the surface. Images in this section are from the DR countryside, and locations away from the crowd. There's a certain atmosphere in this country, chill out and get used to it.
